National Museum of Funeral History
May 16 & 17, 2010 will mark the 16th Tee-Off of the National Museum of Funeral History annual Golf Classic. The Golf Classic is our major fund raising activity, allowing the Museum to continue educating the general public about our vast funeral history and heritage. For the past 11 years the tournament has been held at the Kingwood Country Club which is well known as the filming location of "Tin Cup." 
The tournament will kick off with a Caribbean themed cocktail party on the evening of the 16th, at the Museum which allows
Players and Sponsors to mingle and visit before the next day's fun-filled competition.
A 9:00am shotgun start will signal the beginning of the 5 man team tournament at the prestigious Kingwood Country Club. The tournament this year will use two of the three championship courses available. Several special events will also be held, including a hole-in-one contest that could get you a 4 day-3 night golf resort vacation. 
The Classic's of the past have featured as many as 50 Sponsors and over 250 Players from within the funeral industry
and out. Networking is one of the biggest benefits for our Sponsors and Players who continue to give year after year.
Last year was a record year with both courses selling out, so get your registrations in early!
Last year we also added a new level, the Platinum level with an exclusive breakfast with the Museum and SCI Senior Executives. After 18 holes of golf all players returned to the Clubhouse for the awards BBQ dinner and live auction. Some off the items auctioned off this year includes a Caribbean get away for 2 and many more exciting items.
